Randy A. Munk, 47 of Mustard Road, Watertown, passed April 7, 2013 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo.

The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, Apr. 12 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home with Father Doug Marlow officiating.

Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 11 at the funeral home.

Born on March 30, 1966 in Watertown, son of Richard J. and Loretta S. Backhaus Munk Sr., he graduated from General Brown High School in 1984.

Following high school he became a professional truck driver and has woked at Teal’s Express for the past ten years. He also owned and operated R & M Containers in Watertown since 2007.

He married Chris E. Manning of Lyons Falls, on July 22, 2006 at Boldt Castle in Alexandria Bay.

The couple have a camp on Tug Hill where he loved to snowmobile, go four wheeling, hunt and fish. The couple also spent summers at French Creek Marina on the St. Lawrence River in Clayton and enjoyed boating. He was a member of the Clayton American Legion.

Among his survivors are his wife, Chris E. Munk, Watertown; a stepson, Corey R. Munn, MD; his father and mother, Richard J. and Loretta S. Munk, FL and Three Mile Bay; a brother and sister in law, Dicky J. and Julie A. Munk Jr., Glenpark; two nephews, Bryan and Eric Munk; a great nephew, Dylan Munk; four brothers in law and their wives, Bob and Susie Manning, Lyons Falls, Jimmy and Tammy Manning, Constableville, Kevin and Sally Manning,Glenfield, David Manning, SC; several nieces and nephews.

Randy had numerous friends which he truly loved and enjoyed spending time with and a devoted and loving wife whom he loved and cherished through out there marraige. Many thanks to all our family and friends for your love and support over the past year.
