MENACING - MASSENA - Village police charged Donovan L. Smith, 17, of 41 Martin St., Massena, with second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment at 8:43 p.m. Wednesday following an investigation into a domestic dispute that reportedly took place on March 31 at his residence. He allegedly punched his then girlfriend, Brittany L. Courter, in the face and threatened to kill her while holding a knife during an argument. Smith was arraigned by Massena Village Justice Eric J. Gustafson and released under the supervision of the probation department.



PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Samantha R. Sherwood, 18, of 46 Park Ave., Massena, with petit larceny at 1:05 a.m. Wednesday. Sherwood allegedly stole several painkillers that had been prescribed for her mother, Tina Debien, after a recent surgery. The incident, was reported to police at 11:42 p.m. Tuesday.



CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - MASSENA - Village police charged Bobby C. Page Jr., 26, of 32 Water St., Apt. 6, Massena, with fourth-degree criminal mischief and unlawful possession of marijuana at 6:48 p.m. Wednesday following an investigation into a disturbance on McCluskey Avenue.



BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Tammy L. Wray, 37, of 146 Center St., Apt. 9, Massena, on a bench warrant at 8:34 p.m. Wednesday. Village court had issued the warrant after Wray reportedly failed to appear as directed on a driving while intoxicated count. She was arraigned by Massena Village Justice Eric J. Gustafson and released on her own recognizance to return to court on April 23.
