GRAND LARCENY - BRASHER IRON WORKS - Massena-based state police charged Trevor B. Barber, 30, of Brasher Falls with fourth-degree grand larceny (credit card) at 12:01 a.m. Thursday following an investigation into an incident reported on the morning of Feb. 13 from the town of Brasher. Barber was taken into custody at 595 Smith Road, Brasher Iron Works, arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.



PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Caitlin E. Baker, 20, of Mayville with petit larceny at 3 p.m. Wednesday following an incident in the town of Potsdam.



DWI - NORTH LAWRENCE - Massena-based state police charged Victor A. Pitts, 44, of Brasher Falls with driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for speeding following a traffic stop at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 11C in the town of Lawrence.



UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Michael T. Swinyer, 18, of Malone with unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed him for making an unsafe turn following a traffic stop at 12:01 a.m. Thursday on state Route 37 in the village of Massena.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - POTSDAM - State police from around the region investigated several property damage accidents Wednesday around the region. Among those were:

■ Katelin B. Grammo, 21, of Star Lake at 11:01 a.m. on County Route 24, near Selleck Road, in the town of Pierrepont.

■ Heather M. Patten, 26, of Potsdam at 5:30 p.m. on state Route 72, near Green Road, in the town of Hopkinton.
