“Social Networking & Your Business” will teach business owners how to use websites such as Facebook and Twitter from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1290 Arsenal St. Registration, which includes a continental breakfast, is $10.

The speaker at the presentation will be Kim Brown, assistant director of career services at Syracuse University. Professionals will learn which social media networks could work best for their business and brand, how to extend their brand in their industry and how to measure the websites’ success.

The event is sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association of Central New York Chapter and Greater-Watertown North Country Chamber of Commerce.
