A woman arrested in February for allegedly selling crack cocaine in Ogdensburg is facing more charges.
Kelly J. Ellard-Staton, 37, of 125 Belmont Courts, was indicted in St. Lawrence County Court Wednesday for additional counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, Ogdensburg police said.
Ms. Ellard-Staton was returned to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, following her indictment.
This brings the total number of charges against Ms. Ellard-Staton to 10, city police said. She had been charged Feb. 27 with four counts each of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession. She has pleaded not guilty to those charges in County Court.
