SAFE Act part of plan to take away freedom

Global warming is now climate change. Gun control is now firearm violence. A semiauto rifle is now an assault rifle, and your scoped deer rifle is now a military sniper weapon. Why is it that democratic, liberal progressives are so terrified of the American people possessing guns? Why does the Department of Homeland Security need 7,000 machine guns, 1 billion rounds of .40 caliber hollow points, and 2,700 armored vehicles? Whom do they plan on using this stuff against? My guess is guys like me — ,white, middle-class Americans, who believe in the Constitution and individual liberty.

Unless our federal government gets its budget under control and out of our lives, our economy will collapse with widespread anarchy and destruction. It simply cannot be avoided. In four years our national debt will be $20 trillions. In 10 years, $30 trillion. Obama and his friends are making plans to take control of the American people by armed force. They assume, correctly I believe, that the new coalition of blacks, Hispanics, welfare recipients, government workers and all others who depend on handouts, will keep the Democratic socialist in power forever. It will be the end of our country.

I protested against the SAFE Act. The Constitution states clearly that the right to keep and bear arms cannot be infringed. Period! Yet Gov. Andrew Cuomo wants to make felons out of 1 million of New York’s finest citizens. He is doing this because he wants to have a felony charge to attack those who would stand for freedom and be legally able to put them in prison. All Cuomo has to do is have the state police check the pistol permits and get a search warrant for your home. The vast majority of firearms owners in New York are conservative Republicans. And this guy wants to be president. Have a nice day.
