Woman accused of driving 113 miles per hour on Fort Drum connector road.

A West Carthage woman was arrested after allegedly driving 113 miles per hour while going west on Interstate 781, also known as the Fort Drum connector road, in LeRay.

After being pulled over by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies at 6:48 a.m. Sunday, Jamie M. Walton, 27, address not listed, told responding deputies she did not have a license or any vehicle documentation.

Deputies learned that both her license and registration were suspended, and that a bench warrant from the town of Champion was in effect after she failed to pay a $225 fine in connection with a previous arrest citing disorderly conduct.

Ms. Walton, processed in town of LeRay Court, was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $500 bail for the traffic charges and $500 bail for the bench warrant.
