Practices are drawing to a close for Ogdensburg Showtimes 2013 Spring Variety Show, to be held Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the Ogdensburg Free Academy auditorium.
The show is stage-ready, said Showtime business manager Tim Baker.
The lineup will include a special tribute this year.
This year Showtime will honor loved ones who have passed whether they were Showtime members or simply music lovers, said show director Tom Nichols.
This special dedication showcasing their names will be presented during each of the three shows.
The shows are at 7:15 p.m. Saturday and Monday, and 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Special guests joining their talents to the Showtime lineup are musicians Don Woodcock and Dan Pearson, the Heuvelton Central School Junior Chorus and Heuvelton school music directors Erik and Kari Lutters.
Admission is $5 per person. Student admission is $2, and children get to enjoy the show for free.
This years shows will offer an updated format with members from several communities and local schools. Showtimes volunteers look forward to presenting shows including comedy and music ranging from gospel to Broadway which are family oriented and that showcase the many talented local voices.
All are invited to come and enjoy a 70-year tradition.
