POTSDAM — Nettie Rishe scored eight goals and assisted on two others to lead the Potsdam girls lacrosse team to a 13-12 win over Canton in an Northern Athletic Conference game on Tuesday.

Michaela Cole added three goals for the Sandstoners (2-1 overall, 2-0 division). Kalie Grant and Jenny Tardelli also scored for Potsdam.

Tess Knight and Alison Noble each scored three goals for Canton (0-2). Molly McMasters scored twice and Rachel Huntley, Lacey Kenny, Katie Lapinski and Kali Frank added single goals.

MASSENA 18, OFA 8

Erin Francis scored nine goals and assisted on four others to lead the Red Raiders (2-0) past Ogdensburg Free Academy in Massena.

Alisha Jacobs scored four goals with three assists for Massena. Ashlyn Olson scored two goals and Dominique Valancius, Devin Kelly and Makaul Vandermast added single goals.

Mackenzie Bressett and Kaitlin Sheppard each scored two goals with one assist for OFA (1-2, 1-1). Nikki Holmes and Nicole Hammond also scored two goals for the Blue Devils.

HEUVELTON 10, SALMON RIVER 9 (OT)

Jackie Sovie scored seven goals, including the game-winner in overtime, as the Bulldogs (1-2, 1-1) defeated Salmon River in Heuvelton.

Olivia St. Pierre scored twice for Heuvelton and Ashlyn Foster also scored.

Tewashorake Barnes and Kierra Thompson scored three goals each for Salmon River (0-1).

Kiana Thompson, Vanna Thompson and Victoria Thompson added single goals.

BOYS LACROSSE

CANTON 10, POTSDAM 6

Canton (2-0) outscored the Sandstoners 4-0 in the fourth quarter to win an NAC game in Potsdam.

Jack Elberty led the Golden Bears with four goals. Cody Moore scored three goals and Josh Pierson, Tanner Sanderson and Ryan Caldwell added single goals.

Hayden Hart scored twice to lead Potsdam (2-1). Stephen Lewis, Chris Stone, Garrett Kilgore and Chad Varney added single goals for the Sandstoners.

SALMON RIVER 21, SARANAC LAKE 3

Dalston Day scored three goals with five assists to lead Salmon River past the Red Storm (0-3) in Saranac Lake.

Skylar Thomas scored four goals for the Shamrocks (3-0). Kyle Lewis scored three goals and Russ Oakes, Kason Tarbell and Sky Sunday each scored twice.

Braiden Sunday, Lakota Square, Ryan Thomas, Dalton Roundpoint and Chad George added single goals.

Seth Pickering scored three goals for the Red Storm.
