BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Bridget M. McGregor, 44, of 39 Beach St., Massena, on a bench warrant at 1:13 p.m. Friday on Beach Street. The warrant had been issued by village court after Ms. McGregor failed to appear in court since being charged with an open container violation at 8:30 p.m. June 6 on East Orvis Street. She was arraigned by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow, pleaded guilty to the violation, paid a $50 fine and was released.



FAMILY COURT WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Chad M. McGregor, 33, of 266 East Orvis St., Massena, on a St. Lawrence County Family Court bench warrant at 10:15 a.m. Friday on East Orvis Street. He was turned over to sheriff’s deputies and transported to Canton for arraignment in family court.



INADEQUATE MUFFLER - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Cody J. Anderson, 21, of McKinley Avenue, Massena, for operation of a vehicle with an inadequate muffler at 8:45 a.m. Friday following a traffic stop on North Main Street.



BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Masssena-based state police picked up Rachel E. Riley, 22, of 2224 state Route 420, Massena, on a bench warrant Thursday evening. Justice James M. Crandall had signed the warrant on April 9 after Riley failed to appear as directed on a petit larceny charge pending in Massena court. Riley was arraigned on the warrant by Massena Town Justice Gerald P. Sharlow and released on her own recognizance to appear April 24 in town court.



PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Elisha S. Santana, 19, of Cohoes with petit larceny following a complaint at 8:18 p.m. Thursday from a business on Route 11 in the town of Potsdam.



HARASSMENT - WINTHROP - Massena-based state police charged Jesse L. Lamora, 23, of North Lawrence with second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief following an investigation into a domestic dispute reported to troopers at 8:37 p.m. Thursday from the town of Potsdam.



ASSAULT - NORFOLK - Norfolk Town Police charged George Felix, 47, of 22 Sober St., Norfolk, with third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment Sunday following a domestic dispute. He reportedly injured his mother during an argument and destroyed equipment so she could not contact police for emergency assistance. He was arraigned Sunday in Norfolk Town Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $1,000. He was released from the jail on Tuesday.



SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed John R. Foster, 19, of Georgetown, Mass., for speed in zone (50/30) and operation of an unregistered motor vehicle on a highway at 9:34 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on Sandstone Drive. Police said the vehicle’s registration had expired.



SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Magenta M. Miller, 20, of Hamburg for speed in zone (45]30) following a traffic stop at 11:20 p.m. Thursday on Maple Street.



UNNECESSARY NOISE - POTSDAM - Village police charged Nicola T. Sciara, 22, of Babylon with unnecessary noise - yelling at 11:46 p.m. Thursday on Pierrepont Avenue. Police said Sciara was charged after he was observed yelling from a vehicle.



BENCH WARRANTS - POTSDAM - Village police said they received bench warrantsonCraig W. Buell, 24, and Kenneth J. Snyder, 33.
