Kevin F. Brennan, 56, of 46 Public Square, Apt. 211, was arrested by Watertown police at 1:08 p.m. Saturday at his home on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

According to police, Mr. Brennan took a nap, leaving a 2-year-old child unsupervised. The child left the apartment and was located by a neighbor, police said.

Mr. Brennan was sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where he was processed and released to appear in Watertown City Court.

On Wednesday, state police arrested Mr. Brennan on one count of first-degree falsifying business records, a class E felony.

In that incident, Mr. Brennan is accused of making a false entry on a prescription form while acting as a nurse practitioner for the Mercy Primary Care Clinic. Police said Mr. Brennan falsely completed the prescription to obtain 48 Percocet pills for personal consumption last May 2.
