DEPAUVILLE- Paul K. Williams, 88, of Factory Street died Sunday at the Syracuse VA Medical Center.
Born March 29, 1925 in Chaumont, NY, he was the son of the late Edwin Williams and the late Rosetta Youngs Williams.
He married Audrey LaRose on August 9, 1947 at the parsonage of the Depauville United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert E. Wright officiating.
Mr. Williams was a Merchant Seaman in the United States Merchant Marines from 1945 to 1946 and was honorably discharged.
He was employed with Marcy, Buck and Schyler, Watertown, Longways Truck Stop in the town of Pamelia as a shift manager, Rutland Hills Dairy and Green Thumb at Wellesley Island, retiring in 1980.
Mr. Williams enjoyed playing BINGO and cards.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey, of sixty five years; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Nancy McFarland and Joanne and Del Ridsdale, all of Jefferson, OH, and Judy and Wayne Reed, of Altoona, PA; a son, David Williams and his companion, Marion Stark, thirteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; a brother and his wife, Richard and Barbara Williams, Watertown; and a sister and her husband, Katherine and Sheridan Busby, Depauville.
Seven brothers, Clifford, Robert, Ernest, Herbert, Donald, Gilbert Buddy and Dean, and six sisters, Ruth Chambers, Margaret Thomas, Ethel Wiley, Edith Kelly, Jeanne Cavitch and Dorothy Ludlow died before him.
A funeral will be 11 am Saturday at the Depauville United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Depauville Cemetery.
