CLAYTON Thousand Islands Centrals nearly $20.5 million spending plan for 2013-14 was adopted by the Board of Education at Tuesdays board meeting.
The tax levy will be increased 3.25 percent, which Superintendent Frank C. House said is within the districts tax cap.
The $20,495,294 budget is $904,682, or 4.6 percent, more than the current years $19,590,612.
We were as tight as we get, but we didnt cut any positions, said Mr. House. He said the budget was adopted unanimously by the board.
The board also approved making May 24 a day off to extend the Memorial Day holiday.
