Two Watertown women were ordered held Wednesday at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $10,000 bail after being named in sealed grand jury indictments alleging they had and sold heroin in separate incidents.
Rhonda J. Thomas, 32, of 407 Fairview St., faces two counts each of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, while Jennifer M. Gault, 25, of 416 W. Mullin St., faces one count of each charge.
The charges were contained in indictments unsealed in Jefferson County Court.
It is alleged that Ms. Thomas had and sold the drug within the county twice on the same late March day, while it is claimed that Ms. Gault had and sold the drug in late January within the county.
Both entered not guilty pleas to all of the charges at arraignment before Judge Kim H. Martusewicz and were ordered held at the PSB.
