BENCH WARRANT - POTSDAM - Village police picked up Daniel P. Mackey, 64, of Potsdam on a St. Lawrence County Court bench warrant at 09:30 a.m. Monday on Leroy Street. He was arraigned by St. Lawrence County Court Judge Jerome J. Richards and sent to the county jail.

0720 Patrol assisted a subject with a custody issue.

0733 Received a larceny complaint. Investigation continues.

0737 Received a juvenile complaint.

0814 Woman called and reports she was possibly scammed by an individual she hired to do tree work for her.

0906 Took a complaint of a subject dumping garbage in another subject’s garbage dumpster.

0922 Assisted another agency with a background check on an individual.

0930 Picked up Daniel Mackey on a County Court bench warrant.

1010 Assisted a person with getting a handicap permit.

1035 A subject entered the station and said he believed he possibly was scammed into giving his credit card number to a telemarketer. Subject was advised to cancel his credit card if he believed it was a scam.

1130 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call.

1155 Patrol completed an equipment inspection.

1205 Completed background checks for the Housing Authority.

1410 A patrol picked up a bike that was abandoned.

1430 A patrol responded to South Street for a woman that reportedly was attacked by a pit bull. Potsdam Rescue also asked to respond.

1500 Subject enters the station and reports he is getting harassing correspondencet.

1530 Assisted another agency with a background check.

1755 Patrol completed a vehicle equipment inspection.
