MASSENA – After a courageous 2 year battle with cancer, Mrs. Molly E. McCullough, 84, of 5 Orchard Road, peacefully passed away Sunday afternoon, April 28, 2013 at her home with her family by her side.

Molly was born February 21, 1929 in Burlington, Vermont the daughter of the late John and Marguerite Burnham. She graduated from Vergennes High School and later earned her Associates Degree in Secretarial Business Management from Vasser College. On August 23, 1952, she married Philip G. McCullough in Vergennes.

She was a legal secretary for John Story for many years and later also worked at the NewChannels. She was a member of the AMVETS Post #4 Auxiliary and a former member of the V.F.W. Post #1143Auxillary. Molly also enjoyed reading and shopping.

Molly is survived by her husband, Philip; her son and daughter-in-law Philip and Linda McCullough; five grandchildren, Liam, Gabrielle, Amanda, Mathew, and Samantha; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brother, John Burnham in 1996.

Friends may call Wednesday 2:00 – 4:00 PM, and 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Donaldson Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM with Rev. Scott D. Fobare officiating. Cremation will follow.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Richard E. Winter Cancer Treatment Center.
