Tyrone Harris, 41, of 292 N. Indiana Ave., was charged by Watertown police at 3:25 a.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of Emerson Street with second-degree burglary and first-degree criminal contempt, both felonies, and fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

Police said he violated an order of protection by entering the home of Lucinda N. Pauling, 21 Emerson Place, kicking a door and damaging two door casings during an incident earlier in the morning.

He was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment.
