The Watertown Rams of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League will open their season on Wednesday, June 5 at the Adirondack Trail Blazers in Boonville.

A charter member of the league and formerly known as the Wizards, the Rams will play a 48-game schedule, including 24 home games at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.

Watertown’s home opener is slated for 7 p.m. on June 6 against the Elmira Pioneers. The team’s regular-season finale is at 7 p.m. on July 31 against the Utica Brewers.

The Rams are part of a 10-team PGCBL, which is split into East and West Divisions, with Watertown situated in the West along with Adirondack, Elmira, Newark and Utica. The East will include Albany, Amsterdam, Cooperstown, Glens Falls and Mohawk Valley.

The Rams’ schedule include five Sunday home games, with each 5 p.m. starts. The rest of Watertown’s home games begin at 7 p.m.

Adirondack and Utica are new league members, after playing in the New York Collegiate Baseball League last summer.
