OGDENSBURG — Erin Francis and Shannon Casey each scored four goals to lead the Massena girls lacrosse team to a 12-8 victory over Ogdensburg Free Academy in a Northern Athletic Conference game Tuesday.

Dominique Valancius tallied three goals for Massena (8-2 overall, 7-1 division). Carlie Leary also scored for Massena.

Mackenzie Bresett led OFA (3-9, 3-6) with four goals and one assist. Kaitlin Sheppard, Anna Couperus, Hunter Shaver and Nikki Holmes also scored goals for the Blue Devils.

HEUVELTON 14, SALMON RIVER 10

Jackie Sovie scored seven goals as the Bulldogs (3-7, 2-6) defeated the Shamrocks in an NAC game in Fort Covington.

Olivia St. Pierre, Katie Lashomb and Ashlyn Piercey each scored two goals for Heuvelton.

Tewasherake Barnes led Salmon River (0-8, 0-7) with three goals. Kyra Thompson tallied two goals for Salmon River.

BOYS LACROSSE

SALMON RIVER 12, POTSDAM 8

Skylar Thomas scored four goals and Kason Tarbell added two goals and three assists to lead the Shamrocks (11-0) past the Sandstoners in an NAC game in Potsdam.

Kyle Lewis scored three goals, and Dalston Day tallied one goal with three assists for Salmon River.

Hayden Hart, Garrett Kilgore and Chad Varney each scored two goals for Potsdam (5-6, 5-5).

BASEBALL

HEUVELTON 12, MORRISTOWN 3

Cody Holland doubled twice and drove in two runs to help lead the Bulldogs past the Green Rockets (7-3) in a West Division game in Morristown.

Jack Palmer, Chris Power and Aaron Cobb each produced two singles for the Bulldogs (10-0). Bobby Simmons and Devin Dulmage singled and doubled for Morristown.

LISBON 16, HERMON-DEKALB 1

Don Duprey and Adam Kelley combined to strike out 11 as Lisbon defeated Hermon-DeKalb (1-11) in a West Division game in DeKalb Junction.

Kelley and Duprey each went 3-for-5 for the Golden Knights (3-7).

EDWARDS-KNOX 10, HAMMOND 2

Kaden Dandrow tripled and singled to lead the Cougars past the Red Devils (3-8) in a West Division game in Russell.

Nick Davison doubled twice for Edwards-Knox (5-6, 5-4), and Chris Davison and Tyler Tresidder both singled twice.

HARRISVILLE 15, CLIFTON-FINE 3

Nate Weaver was the winning pitcher and also produced four hits as the Pirates (11-2, 9-2) defeated the Eagles in a West Division game in Star Lake.

Chris Sullivan singled three times for Harrisville.

Matt Russell led the Eagles (4-7) with two hits and Carl Twyman homered for Clifton-Fine.

ST. LAWRENCE 3, TUPPEr LAKE 0

Tyler Savage struck out 15 to help the Larries knock off the Lumberjacks (2-8) in an East Division game in Brasher Falls.

Devon Euto went 2-for-3 for the Larries (7-4, 7-3).

MASSENA 19, CANTON 7

Connor Paquin lined four hits to send the Red Raiders (5-7, 3-4) past the Golden Bears in a Central Division game in Massena.

Isaiah Dillabough and Patrick Manning each produced three hits for Massena.

Bryant Wentworth, Mike Cougler and Alex Hayes led Canton (1-7) with two-hit games.

SOFTBALL

HAMMOND 15, EDWARDs-KNOX 9

Taylor Bowman hit a three-run homer and Alyssa Crosby hit a two-run homer to help Hammond (7-4) knock off Edwards-Knox in a West Division game in Russell.

Mikayla Horton struck out eight for Hammond. Gabby Marshall produced three hits, and Emily Bush and Macy Wilson both added two.

Heather Finnerty produced a two-hit game for the Cougars (7-5, 5-4).

HEUVELTON 24, MORRISTOWN 2

Rachel Thornhill led the Bulldogs with three hits in a West Division win over the Green Rockets (2-7) in Morristown.

Logan Tallman produced two hits and drove in three runs for Heuvelton (12-2, 10-0), and Miranda Donnelly added three hits.

LISBON 13, HERMON-DEKALB 11

Alyshia Murray was the winning pitcher and also homered to help the Golden Knights (8-2) defeat the Demons in a West Division game in Morristown.

Alex Amo lined two hits for Lisbon.

Clarissa Davis led the Demons (3-11, 2-10) with a two-run home run, and Courtney Davis produced a three-hit game, including two doubles for the Demons.

ST. LAWRENCE 20, TUPPER LAKE 2

Lindsey Thayer, Noel Rufa and Tera Douglas each lined three hits to lead the Larries past the Lumberjacks (0-11). Rufa homered twice and Thayer hit a two-run homer for the Larries (12-2, 10-1).

Ari Bishop led Tupper Lake with two hits.

MALONE 21, GOUVERNEUR 0

Alissa McCauley struck out eight to help the Huskies shut out the Wildcats (2-7, 1-5) in a Central Division game in Gouverneur.

McCauley also went 3-for-4 for Malone (7-0). Whitney Legacy also went 3-for-4, including a two-run homer for Malone. Emily Marshall, Erin McDonald and Katie Lamica each produced three-hit games.
