POTSDAM Clarkson University has received a $10,000 higher education grant that will be used to support the Wallace H. Coulter School of Engineering.
Coming from the Procter & Gamble Fund of The Greater Cincinnati Foundation, the grant will be used for the schools efforts to upgrade laboratories to provide a Laboratory of the Future experience for students.
Given the structure of our curriculum, with its strong emphasis on laboratory experience and hands-on learning, engineering students will benefit from the improved common engineering laboratory, resulting in future engineers who are well-prepared to shape our increasingly technological world, said Clarkson University President Anthony G. Collins. We appreciate P&Gs continued generosity.
The grant, combined with matching money from Clarkson, has funded the purchase of a state-of-the-art wind tunnel permanently housed in the common engineering laboratory.
