CROGHAN — Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Moshier, Lancaster, Pa., and Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Croghan, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary June 29 in Lancaster.

Mr. Moshier, son of the late Aaron and Fannie (Gingerich) Moshier, and Maietta Rose Lehman, daughter of the late Elmer and Rosella (Roggie) Lehman, were married on May 8, 1948, at Croghan Mennonite Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Moshier were dairy farmers in the Croghan area for nine years before moving to Harrisonburg, Va., where Mr. Moshier received a music degree from Eastern Mennonite University. He taught music at Lancaster (Pa.) Mennonite School for 22 years. Mr. and Mrs. Moshier directed the Choraleers, a traveling choir, for 40 years. Mrs. Moshier also was a licensed practical nurse.

Mr. and Mrs. Moshier live primarily in Sarasota and are in Lancaster in the summer.

The couple has two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Moshier Shenk and Steve Shenk, Harrisonburg, Va., and Kay Moshier McDivitt and Michael McDivitt, Lancaster; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mervin Moshier and Loren Brumbach, Denver, Pa., and Arnold Moshier Jr. and Lenette Metzler, Palmetto, Fla.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
