Potsdam Central High School art department hosting gallery opening Friday

POTSDAM - The Potsdam Central High School art department will be hosting an opening reception for its 2012-2013 art show on Friday at The Tile Co. on Raymond Street.

This reception will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Creative Spirit: Katya Greer Memorial Art Gallery. The display will remain open through June 14.

The exhibit will include a variety art in different mediums from students in grades nine through 12.

Featured artists displaying photography include: Elijah Adams, Catherine Brownell, Tosha Caloren, Peter Clark, Allison Compeau, Amanda Dillon, Madeline Drechsel, Marissa Ellis, Mary Garner, Steven Hinman, Grace Keleher, Samuel Lee, Kasey LaManquais, Miranda Mangual, Nicole Pain and Emily Wanamaker.

Students exhibiting drawings or paintings include: Elijah Adams, Marie Amell, Ashley Anderson, Keith Bollt, Tosha Caloren, Micah Caraballo, Haley Clark, Emma-Lee Frary, Samuel Lee, Mary Garner, Morgan Hooper, Stephanie Kearing, John Maroney, Chitara Robertson and Carolyn Vitek.

Studio art students displaying work include: Shelbie Baldwin, Mason Bartell, Kallianne Bartlett, Rachel Bates, Kensie Baxter, Jacob Bellucci, Sienna Bercume, Dylan Bowman, Marissa Brown, Clare Brownell, Caitlin Cameron, Shyania Caskinett, Alana Chouinard, Benjamin Crary, Sierra Damon, Christina Deon, Michelle Deon, Crystal Deshane, Patrick Deshane, Gwendolyn Deuel, Dustin Dibble, Ella Dudek, Jordan Emerson, Beth Facteau, Michelle Fortier, Dylan Gruneisen, Ahmed Hmyene, Jordan Jandrew, Samantha Kardash, Emma LoMastro, Chelsea Mayo, Paige McCabe, Marissa McIntosh, Mavis Meng, David Murray, Cara O’Brien, Nicole Pain, Kelsie Rathbun, Breanne Sapp, Shannon Searles, Isaiah Smith, Anna Snell, Kendall Stone, Emily Theobald, Abigail Thomas and Maxwell Warden.
