BURGLARY - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Kathleen A. Morgan, 28, of North Lawrence with two felony counts of second-degree burglary Tuesday following an investigation into burglaries reported on Aug. 31 and Sept. 5 from the town of Norfolk. She was additionally charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the incident reported at 7:44 a.m. Aug. 31. She was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
DWAI DRUGS - LISBON - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Miriam A. Phelps, 27, of Norwood with driving while ability impaired by drugs and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a stop at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 37 at Keystone Road in the town of Lisbon.
UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Adam Ortiz, 27, of Rooseveltown with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 10:46 p.m. Tuesday on East Main Street in the village of Canton.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - LISBON - Ogdensburg-based state police investigated a two-vehicle property damage accident at 6:36 p.m. Tuesday on Pray Road, near Newcombe Road, in the town of Lisbon. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by James A. Robinson, 42, of Lisbon and Mickey J. McLaughlin, 49, of Winthrop.
