Boonville- Harley R. Gleasman, 90, a long time resident of Moose River Road, husband of the late Jean, passed away at his residence, on Sunday, March 24, 2013, after a short illness, while under the loving care of his family and hospice. Harley served his country in WWII in the U.S. Army, later he was proprietor of Gleasmans Liquor Store and Laundry Mat, the Montgomery Ward Catalog Agency of Boonville, before employment for many years as an agent for Century 21 Real Estate of Boonville.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Committal and Military Services, on Friday May 17, at 12 Noon at St. Josephs Cemetery, Boonville, where Rev. Sean Patrick OBrien, will officiate, with military rites accorded by the Charles J. Love Post American Legion, Harland J. Hennessey Post VFW and the Tun Tavern Marine Corps League, all of Boonville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gary and Philip Gleasman Memorial Wrestling Award Fund, C/O Charlotte Bourgeois at Adirondack Central School Business Office 110 Ford St. Boonville, NY 13309, to the American Cancer Society Oneida/Herkimer Branch Office 100 Lomond Place Utica, NY 13502.
