Source Capital, Blue Heron, Weston’s post Kiwanis wins


It was match of early season bragging rights for Lisbon as Source Capital Group defeated COPE Consulting in Kiwanis Softball on Friday.

Emma Stemples and Alexa McKee pitched the win with Brielle McKee and Emma Stemples each supplying three singles. Erica Snyder had two singles while Brooke Measheaw, Kallie Wood, Katie House, Abbie Thompson and Kamrynn Gammon each singled.

Hope Walker and Amanda Walker pitched for COPE. Caysie Lampett smacked two doubles while Gabbie Kroeger and Annah Burdick each singled twice. Abbey Wilhelm chipped in a double while Abby Flack singled.

Blue Heron 6, AmVets 5: Good fielding by Morgan Macaulay, Sidney Johnson, Adriana Parks, and Hailey Reagan backed the strong pitching effort from Natalie McCormick and Courtney Bake in the win. Macaulay, Sidney Johnson, Adriana Parks, and Olivia Parks all contributed a timely hit.

Madison McCormick, Emma Ladouceur, and Kelsi Williams all pitched well for Heuvelton AmVets. Emma Henry played stellar defense while Rayna Cameron generated a nice hit.


Weston’s 11 - Moose 2: Keegan Kelley, Noah Steele and Dawson Marino combined for 13 strikeouts pitching the victory while Jack Cote (RBI single), Noah Steele (triple-RBI), Keegan Kelley, (double, triple 2 RBIs), Loren Putman (double) Bryce Lake - (triple, single, RBI) and Trent Weston (single) provided the key hits.

The Moose pitching combination of Garrett Piercey and Meshawn Johnson combined - for 11 strikeouts

Mark Barr (single), Garrett Piercey (single), Jordan Fenenessy (single, RBI) and Mesean Johnson (single) provided the Moose attack.


Grays Gun Shop 5, Busters 5: Grays rallied from a 5-1 deficit to force a tie.

Keying the tie was timely hitting from Eric Rowe and Eric Robinson, followed by a homerun by Storm Walker to even up the score at 5-5. Great defensive plays were made by Hayden McBath, Griffin Walker, Teagan Jordan and Hayes Bouchey.

The entire Buster’s team played well.
