TJ Toyota Flint’s major sponsor

The 2012 season local angler Chris Flint started his rookie season fishing professionally in the Northern FLW WAL-MART Everstart Series. Flint finished the season ranked 23rd out of 250 anglers who competed in that division. By finishing in the 23rd spot Flint qualified for the Everstart National Championship where he traveled to West Monroe, LA and fished the Ouachita (Wash-i-taw) River recently becoming a well known area because of the new hit series “Duck Dynasty”. Flint only missed qualifying for priority entry into the FLW WAL-MART tour by 13 spots while competing during his rookie season.

The 2013 season has arrived and Flint has prepared to enter his second year fishing as a professional angler and with that he has gained major local sponsor support. He will be easy to spot this year traveling in his fully wrapped Toyota Tundra which matches his boat. TJ Toyota of Potsdam was the first major sponsor Flint signed for the 2013 season and with that others followed. The Ole Smoke House Madrid, The Computer Guys of Canton and Potsdam, Hosmer’s Marina, Ogdensburg and FISHCAP, of St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce were some of the new local sponsors Flint will be adding to his jersey this year.

“As I progress into the 2013 season I saw potential in each sponsor I approached with a unique opportunity for me to advertise and promote what each business has to offer its customers. I have also started my website to support my passion for the sport of fishing and teach others what I learn while on the water and tournament trail, so to stay in tune with what’s happening on the water check out my website http// as I will be posting local reports and videos of fishing adventures I experience through the season,” said Flint.

“ Just again want to say thank you to everyone that has supported me for this season and be sure to say hi when you see us on the water or the highway!”
