OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Tyler Reid and Chris Dashiell each scored three goals to power the Stevenson (Md.) University men’s lacrosse team to a 12-6 victory over defending NCAA Division III champion Salisbury, coached by Watertown native Jim Berkman, in a national semifinal game Sunday at Mustang Stadium.

The Sea Gulls (17-6) fell behind 9-3 at halftime and never caught up against Stevenson (21-2).

Berkman, the all-time winningest coach in NCAA men’s lacrosse history, has guided the Sea Gulls to 10 national championships and has a career record of 419-43 in 25 seasons at the Maryland-based school.
