OBSCENITY - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged a 14-year-old female from Norwood and a 15-year-old male from Norfolk with misdemeanor counts of third-degree obscenity Tuesday following an incident reported to troopers April 26 from the town of Norfolk. The teenagers were sexting, sending nude and lewd photos to each other, state police investigators said. Police said their investigation is continuing. The juveniles’ cases were turned over to the probation department to determine if they will be petitioned to St. Lawrence County Family Court.

PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Chelsey S. Matthie, 21, of Parishville with petit larceny after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 4:03 p.m. Tuesday at the Potsdam Walmart.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Donald A. Fifield, 25, of Canton with second-degree criminal contempt and Tracy N. Surcey, 38, of Canton with third-degree falsely an incident Wednesday following an investigation into a burglary complaint filed with troopers at 6:45 p.m. May 9 from the town of Canton.

PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Allan M. Villnave, 24, of Madrid with petit larceny after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 5:26 p.m. Wednesday from the Potsdam Walmart.

AGGRAVATED DWI - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Carrie L. Burnor, 27, of Massena with aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired by drugs and having a controlled substance in a non-original container and ticketed him for failure to keep right following a traffic stop at 9:07 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 131 in the town of Massena.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Terry A. St. Germaine, 22, of Plattsburgh with unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:33 p.m. Wednesday following an incident at 183 Dundee Road in the town of Fort Covington.
