OPEN CONTAINER - POTSDAM - Village police charged Zachary L. Rosenthal, 25, of Miami, Fla., with an open container violation and littering at 1:51 a.m. Wednesday on Market Street after an officer him throw an open container of an alcoholic beverage on the ground.

UNSAFE LANE CHANGE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Bradey M. Malone, 20, of Potsdam for moving from lane unsafely at 3:26 p.m. Wednesday on Market Street following a property damage accident on Market Street.

FAKE ID - POTSDAM - Brittany L. Groat, 19, of Delanson with attempting to purchase alcohol by fraudulent means at 5:21 p.m. at a business in Seacomm Plaza. Police said Groat attempted to purchase alcohol with a fake ID at T & R Wines and Liquor.

BENCH WARRANT - POTSDAM - Village police picked up Kirsten L. Garner, 26, of Potsdam and Charles E. Peterson, 22, of Potsdam on bench warrants at 11:06 a.m. Wednesday from the town of Antwerp Court after they were observed walking on Market Street. They were turned over to New York State Police for transport to Antwerp for arraignment.

1345 Patrols and Potsdam Rescue dispatched to Midtown Apartments for an intoxicated male.

1347 Potsdam Rescue dispatched for a Lifenet transport.

1526 Patrols dispatched to a property damage accident on Market Street near Big Lots.

1600 Completed record check for the Housing Authority.

1721 Patrol responded to T & R Wines and Liquors for a subject attempting to use a fake ID to purchase alcohol. Ticket issued.

1740 Received a possible child abuse case. Investigation revealed the incident occurred outside the village of Potsdam. Complaint was forwarded to the sheriff’s department.

1858 Patrols assisted a subject with an issue with another subject.

2032 Patrol responded to a juvenile complaint on Racquette Road.

2139 Traffic stop on Maple Street. Verbal warning issued.

2211 Traffic stop on Maple street. Verbal warning issued.

2240 Traffic stop on Maple Street. Verbal warning issued.

2253 Received a stolen property complaint.

2303 Traffic stop on Market Street. Verbal warning issued.

2316 Patrols responded to a noise complaint on Main Street.

2343 Patrol responded to a criminal mischief complaint.
