Brasher man faces aggravated DWI charge

AGGRAVATED DWI - NORTH LAWRENCE - St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies charged Paul D. Donnelly, 31, of 9 North St., Brasher Falls, with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 10:58 p.m. Saturday at the entrance to the CC Dam off County Route 55 just outside the hamlet of North Lawrence. He was also ticketed or having an inadequate tail lamp. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.20 percent, more than double the legal limit. A DWI charge is elevated to an aggravated DWI count when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent of higher.
