Ogdensburg man charged with aggravated family offense


MACOMB — An Ogdensburg man faces 12 charges following a domestic incident on Tuesday, St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies said.

Robert A. Middlemiss, 24, was charged with felony charges of first-degree criminal contempt, for allegedly violating an order of protection, and aggravated family offense.

Further details about the incident, including the names of others involved, were not released by deputies.

Mr. Middlemiss also was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation; third-degree assault; five counts of endangering the welfare of a child under the age of 17; fourth-degree criminal mischief, for alleged damage to a door, and two counts of harassment.

Mr. Middlemiss was arraigned in Macomb Town Court and sent to St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond. He is to reappear in Town Court.
