An Alexandria Bay man was resentenced Tuesday to six months in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building after admitting in Jefferson County Court that he violated probation.
Robert M. Gates, 52, address not available, was given credit for an unspecified amount of time served at the PSB. He was serving five years probation imposed in County Court in December 2008 for a felony driving while intoxicated conviction. He admitted violating probation by failing to follow through with substance abuse treatment recommendations and by continuing to consume alcohol while under supervision.

Mark A. Adams, 28, of 932 State St., pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He admitted that on Jan. 26 in the town of Wilna he possessed a Honda motorcycle that had been reported stolen from a residence in Brownville. He is due to be sentenced Aug. 7 to no worse than probation.
Doran A. Johnson, 24, of 2937 Stoddard Road, Copenhagen, pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal contempt. He admitted that on April 19 in Watertown he sent multiple text messages to Chelsey L. Baker, Watertown, violating a City Court order of protection. He is expected to be sentenced July 2 to three years probation, the supervision of which will be transferred to Lewis County.
Justin A. Tanner, 22, of 31097 Route 11, Philadelphia, was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge after a March 26 guilty plea to fourth-degree criminal mischief. He admitted that on Oct. 12 he broke a large window at Crazy Legs Saloon, 536 Arsenal St. Police said at the time that he threw a rock through the window.
