Treatment at SMC top-notch in every way

I wanted to publicly recognize and thank the staff at Samaritan Medical Center for the recent spectacular care I received while being a patient there for one week.

To begin with, the ER staff was amazing. The wait was minimal and the constant professional, yet personal care was so impressive.

Dr. Delaney clearly explained her findings and the necessary solutions. She even knelt on the floor at my bedside to be eye level to me as she explained everything in terms that I would understand. Bruce, my ER nurse, treated me with such kindness, throwing in some appreciated humor to help keep my children and me lighthearted. In the OR, Dr. Weinstein and his staff treated me with tender loving care, and before I knew it, I was in my room on the fifth floor being cared for by the best nurses and aides a patient could ask for.

A very sincere thank you to Howard, Maria, Rhonda, Joann and Lori. You made my stay there feel like I was at the Hilton! At times I didn’t want to go home, but when I did, I wanted to take all of you with me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your tender loving care. If I ever have to return to SMC, I am going to request the fifth floor.

Thank you also goes out to Drs. Robert Kimball and Joseph Wetterhahn for taking such good care of me. Finally, I extend my gratitude to the cafeteria staff, who were so friendly and accommodating each and every day.

When I hear any negativity directed toward SMC, I will be the first to step up and share my nothing but positive experiences as a patient there. We are truly blessed to have such a facility of this quality within our community. My family and I are so grateful to each and every one of you. Thank you again.

Anne C. Tinsley
