Flower Library wants your books, more for big sale

Friends of Flower Memorial Library are seeking donations throughout the summer and fall for their annual book sale, which will begin Saturday, Oct. 26.

Sorters are looking for books which are in good or excellent condition. The sale will run for 10 days.

Those who are cleaning out their closets, attics and garages or planning summer rummage sales are invited to donate books and music to the library.

Novels, paperbacks, non-fiction, children’s books, compact discs, DVDs and VHS tapes are needed. Records are not needed.

Old textbooks, National Geographic magazines and Reader’s Digest condensed books aren’t big sellers. If they are among donated items, they will be given away.

Contributions may be left at the library, 229 Washington St., Watertown, during regular library hours.
