A Watertown man was sentenced Monday in Jefferson County Court to three years in state prison for having sexual contact with a juvenile.

Jeremy J. Countryman, 30, whose last known address was 611 Addison St., also was ordered to undergo an additional seven years of supervision upon his release from prison and register with the state as a sex offender after a May 1 guilty plea to third-degree criminal sex act. He admitted that on Oct. 31, he had sexual contact with a 15-year-old boy in Watertown.

He was sentenced as a second-felony offender, having been sentenced in County Court in June 2005 to 10 years’ probation after pleading guilty to third-degree criminal sexual act. He had been accused in that case of having sexual relations with a 15-year-old boy. He admitted violating probation in May 2007 and was resentenced to one to three years in prison.

In other court activity:

Brian G. Arnold, 42, Watertown, was sentenced to 10 months in the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building after Dec. 7 guilty pleas to second-degree menacing and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He admitted that on Aug. 29, he threatened Nicole R. Villalobos, Evans Mills, with a stick on Factory Street. He has a prior conviction of second-degree menacing, making the possession and use of the stick illegal.

Dustin J. Robinson, 22, Tioga County, admitted violating probation and was resentenced to six months in the PSB. He admitted violating probation by continuing to use marijuana and hydrocodone without a prescription while under supervision. Information about why he was serving probation was not available from the court.

Devin Daniels, 24, Baltimore, Md., pleaded guilty to third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance. Sentencing was set for July 12. He had been accused in a grand jury indictment handed up in April with selling cocaine in mid-January.

Frankie J. Davis, 18, Watertown, was arraigned on counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. The charges were contained in an indictment unsealed in court. It is alleged that she had and sold heroin within the county in mid-May. She pleaded not guilty to the charges and was sent to the PSB on $20,000 bail.

Nicole E. Hargis, 29, Black River, was allowed to withdraw April 19 guilty pleas to third-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child as a result of separate incidents. She was expected to be sentenced Monday to time served at the PSB and 10 years’ probation, as well as ordered to register with the state as a sex offender. Instead, the matter likely will go before a grand jury. At the time of her plea, she admitted that she had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old boy in June 2012 in the town of LeRay and that she had sexual contact with an 11-year-old girl in the summer of 2006.
