LOWVILLE The main lobby entrance at Lewis County General Hospital will be closed for the next few weeks because of the ongoing capital project.
The lobbys rear entrance was closed Tuesday and is expected to remain that way for at least three weeks for the dialysis addition project, according to a statement the hospital released.
Patients and family members may enter through the childrens clinic/rehabilitation building entrance off Number Three Road or the emergency department entrance off North State Street. The circle entrance off North State Street is also open for patients.
A 7,200-square-foot addition is slated to be built off the west side of the Medical Arts Buildings first floor and basement for the dialysis center while roughly 1,000 square feet of adjoining space in the Medical Arts Building will also be renovated.
