The city of Watertown Parks and Recreation Department plans to kick off its Outdoor Family Movie Night Summer Series on Saturday at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds, Coffeen Street.
The series first movie will be The Perfect Game, the true story of a group of boys from Monterrey, Mexico, who became the first team from outside the United States to win the Little League World Series.
It will be shown at the fairgrounds ball field at dusk, with audience members starting to congregate at 6 p.m. The rain date is June 30.
Admission is free. Refreshments will be sold.
The event is sponsored by the Watertown Rams collegiate baseball team and FX Caprara Car Companies.
