FC Freeze U16 boys win


LOWVILLE - The FC Freeze U16 Boys soccer team ended it opening five game Jefferson-Lewis County road swing on a winning note turning in their best performance of the season posting an impressive 8-2 victory over LCU United on Thursday night.

Ogdensburg’s Peyton Lalone sparked the offense netting two goals and passing out three assists while Dominic Frascatore (Potsdam) added two markers. Zach Ashley (Ogdensburg), Tyler Robinson (M-W) and Matt Stone (Potsdam) rounded out the scoring for the FC Freeze with Adam Kelley (Lisbon) adding two assists in a strong midfield performance and Ben Hammond (Ogdensburg) adding one assist.

Lisbon’s Tristan Vine and Robinson combined for 10 saves in the crease for the locals who stand at 2-2-1 at the midpoint of the season in the NNYSL. The Freeze will be begin a series of five straight Monday night home games at St. Lawrence University on Monday with a 6 p.m. start.
