Other feature winners were: Shawn Kirby (25-lap pro street); Charlie Sandercock (20-lap late model) and Doug Williams (15-lap mod lites).

MCCREADIE DOMINATES RACE

Watertown native Tim McCreadie cruised to victory in the World of Outlaws late-model series race Wednesday night at the Fonda Speedway.

McCreadie’s win, worth $10,650 for his race team, was the third of his career at the speedway.

McCreadie started on the pole and led the entire 50 laps, finishing ahead of Dan Stone.

Edwards native Tim Fuller finished 12th.

EVANS MILLS CROWDS GOOD

Greg Smith has been pleased with attendance this season at Evans Mills Speedway.

“We’ve had some good crowds this season, especially at the recent sprint show and last week’s program in honoring Keith Doxtater,” the track’s general manager said.

Keith Doxtater, the 2012 super stock champion, died during an off-the-track accident in January. More than 100 motorcyclists took a lap around the speedway before the race in Doxtater’s memory.

Jason Dinzler won the super stock race in honor of Doxtater.

Other winners last week were: Randy Bowman (thunder stocks); Jordan McCreadie (modified); Luke Roes (trucks); Mike Gadbaw (sports compacts); Chris Zieren (legends); and Sam Warren (juniors).

LATE MODELS AT MOHAWK

The Go Nuclear late models highlight tonight’s action at Mohawk International Speedway in Akwesasne.

The late-model series race will include World of Outlaw late-model stars Chubb Frank and Clint Smith in the field.

Other races will be in the 358-modified and sportsman divisions. The pro stocks and mod lites will have the night off.

DOWN THE ROAD

Monster trucks will visit Can-Am and Evans Mills later this summer.

Evans Mills will have two nights of action on July 25-26. Can-Am has scheduled a monster truck show for Aug. 24.
