Norma R. Jones, 86, of 22212 Patricia Drive, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Samaritan Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Jones was born on July 24, 1926 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of Norman and Louise Schmid Sendlbeck. She attended schools in Buffalo and on September 29, 1945 married George E. Jones, Sr. in Buffalo, NY. Mr. Jones died August 22, 1984. Mrs. Jones was employed as a young girl at Borden’s Processing Plant in Buffalo. She and her husband operated a dairy farm on Route 11 in Antwerp from 1954 until 1970. From 1976 until 1984 the couple owned and operated the Park Entrance Liquor Store. Mrs. Jones was a communicant of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church.

Surviving are three sons and a daughter in law; George, Jr., Gregory and Chris, David and his companion Stephen DeForge, all of Watertown, five daughters their husbands; Diana and Stewart Peters, Depauville, Georgiana and Stephen Jackson, Watertown, Deborah and Michael Sippy, Georgia, Donna and Ronald Backus, Watertown and Patricia and Robin Burnell, Watertown, one sister Phyllis Sendlbeck, Tonawanda, twenty one grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A daughter Sharon Galluccio, three sisters, Margie Sharlow, Shirley Fierle, Rosemarie Beckley and a grandson Noel Peters died before her.

Calling hours will be 2-5 pm on Sunday at the D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, Inc. A prayer service will be held Monday at 9:15 am at the funeral home with a 10 am funeral mass at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church with Reverend Jonas Tandayu officiating.
