CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - LOUISVILLE - Massena-based state police charged Ronald E. Codrington, 32, of New York City with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell following a traffic stop at 11:39 a.m. Friday on state Route 37B in the town of Louisville.

PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Devin I. Noreault, 18, of Malone with petit larceny after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 4:14 p.m. Monday from the town of Potsdam. He was additionally charged with resisting arrest when he was being taken into custody at the Stewart’s, 26 Maple St.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Carlos A. Rodriguez, 21, of Hogansburg with unlawful possession of marijuana and ticketed him for failure to properly signal a turn following a traffic stop at 12:41 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 131 in the town of Massena.

ISSUING BAD CHECKS - ST. REGIS FALLS - Malone-based state police charged Joseph J. Norton, 29, of Constable with six counts of issuing a bad check June 18 when he was making an appearance on another matter in Waverly Town Court. He was arraigned on the new charges and sent to the Franklin County Jail with bail set at $1,155.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police from around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region Monday. Among those:

■ Joseph P. Catanzarite, 71, of Massena and Katelyn Mary Gordon, 26, of Plattsburgh at 3:55 p.m. inthe Cook and Gardner parking lot off Tom Miller Road in the town of Plattsburgh.

■ Susan M. Westurn, 54, of Brushton at 9:39 p.m. on Finnegan Road, near Perry Road, in the town of Brushton.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS - WINTHROP - Massena-based state police charged Kari L. Bonaparte, 27, of Bombay with second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree harassment following an investigation into a complaint made to troopers at 4:30 p.m. Friday in the town of Stockholm. She was arrested early Friday evening at 560 state Route 11C, Winthrop.

OBSTRUCTION GOVERNMENTAL ADMINISTRATION - LISBON - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Nathaniel J. White, 24, of Madrid with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest following an incident at 11:50 p.m. Friday on the Bouck Road in the town of Lisbon. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.

PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Massena-based state police reported they had charged a 14-year-old male with petit larceny following an investigation into a larceny complaint made to troopers at 10:35 p.m. June 18 from the town of Massena. The juvenile’ case was turned over to the probation department to determine if he will be petitioned to St. Lawrence County Family Court.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police from around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region on Friday. Among those:

■ Angela A. Bero, 36, of Long Sault, Ont., at 9:03 p.m. on state Route 37 near the O’Neil Road. in the town of Massena.

■ Shannon M. Cook, 44, of Gouverneur at 1:49 p.m. on state Route 310 near Stark Road in the town of Norfolk.
