CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - POTSDAM - Village police charged Austin B. Villnave, 18, of Massena with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 6:57 p.m. Monday at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Police said they were called to CPH for a report of a disorderly individual. Their investigation found Austin had broken two exit signs at the facility.

STOP LIGHT VIOLATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Timothy S. McCarthy,49, of North Bangor for failure to stop for a traffic device - red light at 12:55 a.m. Monday following a traffic stop on Maple Street after he allegedly failed to stop for a red light on Elm Street at Market.

Patrol completed a traffic stop on Maple Street after observing a vehicle fail to stop for a red light on Elm Street at Market. The operator, Timothy S. McCarthy, age 49 of North Bangor, was issued a traffic summons for “failure to stop for a traffic device - red light” returnable in Potsdam Village Court on July 12, 2013.

1527 Report of a dog in a vehicle with the windows rolled up. Patrol responded.

1630 Potsdam Police officers dispatched to assist NYSP on Maple Street.

1708 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to Lawrence Avenue.

1854 Alarm activation at a local business.Patrol dispatched.

1857 Patrol dispatched to CPH for a disorderly individual. Arrest made.
