AMSTERDAM — The Watertown Rams’ pitching staff continues to struggle early in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League season.

The Rams suffered their worst loss of the season Tuesday night, getting pounded 17-0 by the Amsterdam Mohawks at Shuttleworth Park.

Watertown (5-10) has now lost four in a row and has been outscored 46-17 during that span.

The Mohawks (9-9) built a 15-0 lead through four innings, finishing with a season- and league-high 20 hits. Jordan Ebert led the attack, going 4-for-6 with six RBIs, including a three-run homer. Dylan Dwyer recorded his first win, going five innings and scattering five hits.

Watertown starter Anthony Magovney, out of Immaculate Heart Central and the University at Buffalo, had a tough start, allowing nine earned runs and hitting four batters.
