■ DEXTER — Village trash pickup will take place today due to Independence Day falling on Thursday.

n EVANS MILLS — The village Planning Board will not meet on July 10 because it doesn’t have any business presented for consideration.

n POTSDAM — The town has changed its office hours for the summer. For July and August, town offices will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.

n CANTON — Because of renovations in its sanctuary, the Unitarian Universalist Church will move Sunday morning services to St. Lawrence University’s Gunnison Chapel this summer starting at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
