PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Corbey Terrance 22, of 8 Maiden Lane, Massena, with petit larceny at 8:39 p.m. Sunday following a reported shoplifting incident at Walmart. Terrance allegedly walked past the last point of sale without paying for a chainsaw and soda. The merchandise was valued at $168.63.

PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Joseph J. Belile, 29, of 3 Irish Settlement Road, Constable, with petit larceny at 12:40 a.m. Monday. He was picked up at 59 Maple St., Massena. Belile reportedly shoplifted a pair of glass frames valued at $300 from Center for Sight on June 6.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MASSENA - Village police charged Melissa S. Branham, 25, of Massena with disorderly conduct at 8:37 p.m. Sunday following an investigation into a neighborhood dispute at 134 Center St. Branham was reportedly screaming on the porch and front lawn at 134 Center and reportedly refused to comply with several requests from police to stop yelling because it was bothering her neighbors.

CRIMINAL OBSTRUCTION BREATHING - MASSENA - Village police charged Dan R. Tyo, 23, of Massena with criminal obstruction of breathing following an investigation into an incident that reportedly took place just after midnight July 6 at the Hotel Nadeau. He allegedly wrapped his arms around Anthony Convertini’s neck and choked him out when Mr. Convertini was arguing with bar manager Patrick Breen. Mr. Convertini told police the argument started when he jokingly pushed some toilet paper out of Mr. Breen’s hands when the bar manager was taking it to the bathrooms. He said Mr. Breen didn’t appreciate the joke, words were exchanged and there was some pushing before Tyo intervened.
