LOWVILLE — A Brantingham woman was arrested last week on charges that she tried to use another person’s identity to obtain a $6,000 loan, village police said Tuesday.

Teresia L. Jenne, 38, was charged with July 10 first-degree identity theft. She was arraigned in Village Court and sent to Lewis County jail on $2,500 bail.

Ms. Jenne was accused of trying to get the loan by using the name and personal information of another person, whom police did not identify.
