Potsdam PD Police Blotter


PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Village police charged Cameron R. Anderson, 19, of Potsdam and Dennis J. Stephenson Jr., 18, of Potsdam with petit larceny at 12:50 a.m. Thursday after police received a report from a witness who observed two males stealing a coin operated temporary tattoo dispensing machine from a business located in the Seacomm Plaza. Patrols responded and secured the abandoned tattoo dispenser that the suspects had left behind while fleeing the scene. Stephenson was additionally charged with unlawful possesson of marijuana.

0136Report of a subject using another’s identification attempting to gain entrance into a local bar. Patrols responded.

0750Potsdam Police responded to the report of a small fire in the mulch in front of the Town Hallon Elm Street.

0823Patrols responded to the intersection of Market and Sandstone Drive for a motor vehicle accident.

0940 Patrol received 27 record checks from the NYSP Mohawk Casino Detail.

1000 Patrol dispatched Potsdam Rescue and Village Police to a cardiac call at SUNY Potsdam.

1308 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue for a Lifenet crew transport.

1410 Patrols responded to a report of possible previous suspicious activity on Commerce Park Lane. Patrols determined no suspicious activity had occurred.

1421 Dispatched Potsdam Rescue to a call.

1422 Received report of minor property damage Accident that occurred in the Prosh Lot. Patrol responded.

1450 Received report of a suspicious vehicle on Clinton Street. Patrols responded and were unable to locate the described vehicle.

1500 Patrol received a report of trash being dumped illegally. Subjects involved spoken to by patrol.

1519 Patrol assisted citizen with fingerprints for employment purposes.
