State police on Friday charged Jamie L. Thorne, 23, of 1104 Franklin St., with first-degree criminal contempt after she allegedly violated an order of protection.

Police said she entered the home of a person, whom they did not name, who holds an order of protection against Ms. Thorne.

Charged at 5:51 p.m. Friday, she was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $250 bail.
