COLTON - The town of Colton will hold its annual Flea Market from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Pavilion on Sugar Bush Lane in the hamlet of South Colton. Also garage and yard sales will be held throughout town from Thursday through Sunday. The town’s large covered Pavilion on Sugar Bush Lane sits behind the Post Office in South Colton and next to Swift Field. The overflow space will be in the town’s Community Center along Sugar Bush Lane.

Vendors of all types will be at the Flea Markets. Anyone wishing to sell at the Pavilion should contact Sue Ames (262-2936) or Judy Brassard (265-2566; where single spaces measuring 10x10 feet cost $10 and double spaces are $15 with vendors supplying their own tables and chairs. Fees paid for spaces at the Pavilion this year support improvements to Three Falls Park at the corner of State Highway 56 and Sugar Bush Lane including a new pergola and landscaping.

Also there will be a Silent Auction during the Flea Market benefitting the park. Anyone wishing to donate items for the Silent Auction also can contact Sue Ames or Judy Brassard.

During the weekend, the Racquette Valley Fish & Game Club also will have a Flea Market at its facility at 233 Cold Brook Drive in South Colton from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
