PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged David J. Gilbo, 29, of Lisbon with petit larceny Tuesday stemming from an incident that was reported at 1:55 p.m. May 27 from the town of Potsdam.

BURGLARY - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Troy D. Brighton, 43, of Canton with second-degree burglary and possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container following an investigation into a complaint received at 11:26 a.m. Tuesday from the town of Canton. He was arrested at 1 p.m. at 35 Orebed Road, Pierrepont.

RESISTING ARREST - WEST STOCKHOLM - Massena-based state police charged Spencer T. Davis, 22, of Stockholm with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct stemming from a neighborhood dispute complaint lodged with troopers at 8:05 p.m. Tuesday. Troopers said the arrest was made two hours later at 1086 state Route 11B in the town of Stockholm

HARASSMENT - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Jennifer A. Peryer, 33, of Massena with second-degree harassment following an investigation into a domestic dispute reported to troopers at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday from the town of Norfolk.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - MADRID - Massena-based state police charged Erin J. White, 27, of Madrid with second-degree criminal contempt Tuesday following an investigation into an incident reported to troopers at 11:20 p.m. July 12 from the town of Madrid.

PROHIBITED USE WEAPON - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged a 15-year-old male with unlawful possession of a weapon and prohibited use of a weapon following an investigation into a domestic dispute reported to troopers at 12:42 p.m. Monday from the town of Massena. Troopers said the arrest was made early Tuesday afternoon on County Route 43 in the town of Louisville.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - MASSENA - State police from around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents on Tuesday and early Wednesday morning. Among those:

■ Brittani A. Vielhauer, 19, of Brasher Falls at 6:44 a.m. Wednesday on Adams Road, near Old Market Road, in the town of Norfolk.

■ Cotey T. Smith, 21, of Malone at 10:38 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot at 2369 state Route 37 in the town of Fort Covington.

■ Ira J. Thomas, 21, and Randy M. Shea, 55, both of South Colton, were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 7:36 a.m. Tuesday on state Route 56, near Wind Mill Road, in the town of Colton.
